Who are we?
We are a group of college students from diverse backgrounds with interests in fashion, business and community development. Co-founder, Alex Jordan, is half American and half Kenyan as well as a member of the Kikuyu tribe. Alex introduced the idea of tribal-chic fashion to the rest of the team and we all fell in love with the concept.
Our mission
Africa is beautiful continent with thousands of distinct cultures. Many of these cultures have fascinating artistic traditions, and we believe that these traditions can provide limitless inspiration for fashion. Contemporary fashion is a constantly changing industry and we want to introduce a Kenyan perspective into the industry.
Community Development
We believe that as students it is important for us to give back to other students. Kenyan culture allowed us to pursue our idea, so it is important we help some of the communities there. We therefore pledge to give a portion of our profits to the Ndegwa foundation that helps students in Kenya.
